Preliminary Discussion on Matching of Air Compressor Post-treatment Cooling and Drying Machine in Summer to Avoid Faults

With the advent of summer, the temperatures of all parts of the country have been above 30 degrees Celsius. In some places where the temperatures are high, some people have been heated to heatstroke. Because of the high temperature and humidity of the air, a large number of water molecules will be produced in the air. In the high temperature environment like the engine room, this is the performance of the air compressor post-processing equipment cold-dryer. Once the cold-dryer can not be handled, failure will bring unnecessary shutdown to the company's production. Sample trouble and loss, so in this hot season our air compressor post-processing equipment cold dryer working pressure is very large, then how to rationally match the post-processing equipment cold dryer to better run?

Air compressor

Generally used dryers on the market are divided into two categories: freeze dryer and adsorption dryer.

1. The working principle of freeze dryer:

The freeze dryer mainly includes two processes: air and refrigerant. Compressed air at high temperature and tidal temperature enters the pre-cooler from the air inlet for initial cooling, and rotates at high speed through the air-water separator. Water is separated from air due to centrifugal force. After separation, water is discharged from the automatic drainage valve, and the dew point of air pressure after cooling is the most. The temperature is as low as 2 C. The cooled compressed air flows into the evaporator of the refrigeration system, is cooled by the refrigeration system, and the cooled compressed air passes through the condensed water separator again. The condensed water is discharged by the automatic drainage device. The compressed air cooled by drying returns to the heat exchanger for regeneration, and leaves the dryer through the air outlet. The refrigerant compressed by the refrigeration compressor is in high temperature and high pressure state, and the liquid refrigerant in high temperature and high pressure state is cooled by the cooler. The refrigerant in the medium temperature and high pressure state filters impurities through the drying filter, and the refrigerant becomes a mixture of low temperature and low pressure gas and liquid through the role of capillary; finally, it enters the evaporator and hot compressed air for heat exchanger, completes refrigeration and drying, and returns to the refrigeration compressor for cycle work.

Air drying by cold dryer is achieved by cooling the refrigerant to achieve the drying effect, and the lowest cooling of the refrigerant can reach 0 C.

2. The working principle of the adsorption dryer:

Adsorptive dryer achieves drying effect through the principle of "pressure change" variable adsorption. Because the capacity of air to hold water vapor is inversely proportional to the pressure, a part of the air after drying is called regenerated gas. The regenerated gas expands to atmospheric pressure by reducing pressure. The pressure changes make the expanded air drier. Then through the drying agent layer which needs regeneration without connecting the air flow, the drying tower that has absorbed enough water vapor absorbs the dry regenerated air. The moisture in the desiccant is taken out of the dryer to achieve the purpose of dehumidification. The circulating work of the drying tower continuously provides dry compressed gas to the gas-using system. The dew point of compressed air can reach - 20 to - 70 degrees, and the grade of compressed air can be raised to more than three levels.

Adsorption type dryer

If the cold dryer matches reasonably, it can easily meet the standard requirements. If overload work will not only damage the equipment, but also affect the mechanical life. Users can refer to the above two points for analysis. Of course, there are air environment, production process, energy consumption, demand for consumption and other factors to reasonably match the cold dryer.
